The Baltic Neopolis Orchestra invites you. This will be a "housewarming" concert.

The Baltic Neopolis Orchestra invites you to its long-awaited home. The orchestra begins a new chapter in its history. After 17 years of performing without a home of its own, the ensemble will have a permanent base at the Baltic Port of Culture in Łasztownia this fall. The concert "Good Evening at BPK! Baltic Neopolis Orchestra. Inauguration" will take place on Friday, September 19th at 7:30 PM.
The Baltic Port of Culture is a new space that will revitalize Łasztownia – the historic heart of industrial Szczecin. The building that currently houses the Baltic Port of Culture has a long and interesting history. It was built as part of the port's economic hinterland and served as a calf farm for many years. After a period of oblivion, the building has acquired a completely new purpose. Transformed from a workplace and industry into a space dedicated to culture, it symbolically fits into the transformation of Łasztownia – from a port hinterland to one of the most dynamically developing and creative areas of Szczecin.
Today, the Baltic Port of Culture offers spaces for concerts, exhibitions, workshops, artistic meetings, and educational events. Its flexible interior design allows for both intimate concerts and larger cultural events. It is a space open to professional artists and the local community – residents – who can participate in events and contribute to the city's cultural life.
This autumn, the Baltic Port of Culture will begin to bustle with life, becoming a new center for artistic events in Szczecin, a meeting place for artists and art lovers from across the region, and an example of the creative adaptation of a post-industrial space that is gaining a second life in a completely new dimension.
During the concert on September 19th, the audience will hear works composed especially for the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra by outstanding Polish composers, as well as pieces that have accompanied the orchestra for years and shaped its artistic identity. Artists friends of the orchestra who have co-created its artistic path and supported its development for years will also appear on stage.
The opening concert will take place on Friday, September 19th at 7:30 PM at the Baltic Port of Culture (ul. Wendy 1-3, 70-655 Szczecin, next to the Stara Rzeźnia Euroregion Cultural Centre). Tickets are available at biletyomat.pl.
The event is organized by the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra Association, with the City of Szczecin as the main partner. The concert is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
